We now operate a Total Triage System for all appointments
On the 7th July 2025, Wootton & Shortstown Surgery changed the way we offered all appointments. In line with national guidance, we have now moved to an online system where our Clinicians will triage appointment requests, ensuring that you are seen by the most appropriate clinician in a timely manner. This helps make better use of the appointments we have available.
Routine GP appointments
Patients will be asked to complete an online Patient Triage form for all routine GP appointments, which will be found on our website at http://www.woottonvale.co.uk
We will then contact you with either advice or an appointment where appropriate.
You can get help from a Clinician by submitting an online form yourself or asking a family member to do so on your behalf. You can use this form to contact us about anything you would normally call us about.
If you are unable to complete the online form, our reception team will be able to complete on your behalf, before it is looked at by our triage clinician.
We have attached some instructions to help you navigate through the system
